As I started preparing our chicken thighs for dinner, I decided to try a new spin on the oven fried chicken thighs. It came out DELICIOUS. Keep reading to catch the parmesan oven fried chicken recipe!
I made these parmesan oven fried chicken thighs in almost the same way that I make my parmesan potatoes side dish.
First, make the seasoning mixture.
Then, melt butter. Dip your chicken thighs into the melted butter.
Put the chicken in the seasoning mixture. Be sure to cover all sides of the chicken in the seasoning.
Last, put the chicken in a casserole dish *SKIN DOWN* and bake for 30 minutes on 400 degrees. After 30 minutes, flip the chicken and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4-8 chicken thighs (depending on family needs)
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 TBSP paprika
- 1/2 TBSP salt
- 1/4 TBSP pepper
- 1 stick of butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix the flour, parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Melt a stick of butter in a separate bowl.
- Dip your chicken in the butter and then in the seasoning mixture. Be sure to cover all sides of the chicken with the seasoning.
- Place the chicken in a casserole dish with the SKIN DOWN.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Flip the chicken over and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
