Back when I was in high school, I worked a part time job and played three Varsity sports. Between my work schedule, homework, social life, and sports, I needed a way to gather my thoughts and see my life in written form. I bought a $20 planner from Office Depot. It was detailed enough that I could write ALL of the things in it… but it was SO PLAIN and I couldn’t stand it.

* The stickers were an old Washi Tape collection from Me and My Big Ideas – I can’t find it anywhere online to link, so maybe it’s discontinued?
This was before planner stickers even existed – back in 2006/2007. I drove my 16 year old self to Hobby Lobby and bought a variety of stickers to decorate my planner with. Most of the stickers were MAMBI themes meant for scrapbooks! I went CRAZY with it and spent ALL of my paychecks on stickers… and LOVED every second of it! I WISH that I could find that planner from way back then!

Fast forward 12/13 years and I’m still decorating planners. It is a LOT easier these days than it was when I was a teen! I’m going to dedicate an entire section of this blog to talking through my planner pages and linking you up with information on where you can find the various stickers, etc. that I am using!
