This Marshmallow Fondant Recipe is actually TASTY! None of that store bought nasty kind! Use this recipe and WOW your guests!

When people order cakes, it’s unfortunate how often we get the response “I just want buttercream because fondant is disgusting!”
I find this unfortunate because I happen to think fondant is AMAZING… IF it is made right!

You can use traditional food coloring to make this fondant how you want it to look, or, you can use these gel food colors!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Powdered Sugar
- 1 lb Mini Marshmallows
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Butter Flavor
- 2 tbsp Water
- Crisco (Use as needed)
Instructions
- Get a large microwaveable bowl and coat the inside with Crisco.
- Put the mini marshmallows, vanilla, butter, and water in the bowl. Place in the microwave for about 30 seconds and stir. Repeat until you have a liquid marshmallow mixture.
- Put two pounds of powdered sugar into a mixing bowl.
- Slowly add the two pounds of powdered sugar to the marshmallow mixture – stirring as you add.
- After you mix it up nicely with a spoon, lightly coat your hands with Crisco and knead the mixture until it becomes a nice soft and moldable consistency.
