Free Teacher of the Year Silhouette Cut File

I’m all about FREEBIES over here — and today I’ve got one for you!

My mom, sister, and I have a cake business called Yappy Doo Cakes. My mom frequently asks me to make cake toppers for the cakes that she delivers. MOST of the time, I find a design that’s ready for cutting on Etsy and just use that because, well… TIME.

Today, my mom needed a topper for a Teacher of the Year cake. I searched on Etsy for a cut file and didn’t come up with anything. So… I whipped up this text/font combo for the topper:

I cut it out with gold cardstock. I mirrored the image so that I could put the gold cardstock on the back as well. I glued the two pieces together and then attached them to a small dowel rod.

It turned out so pretty! My mom is super talented.
