Planning is my favorite hobby. I post my planner spreads regularly on Instagram and you can also check some of them out here or here. Over time, I’ve come to love certain products for planning more than others. You can easily see how many of these products are used by checking out my daily spreads! Here are 7 must have products for creative planning!
#1 A good quality planner that you adore!
I am a planner SNOB to say the least. There are so many things that I look for in a good, high quality, planner. In the very same breath… I am a planner fanatic. I’m OBSESSED with trying out all of the planners available. Combine an obsessive planner snob together and you get a list of my favorite planners! My top two favorite planners:
Other planners that I love but aren’t using this year…
- Happy Planner {the classic sized teacher edition is my favorite}
- Plum Paper Planner
- Erin Condren Planner
- Recollections Planner (found at Michael’s)
- Agenda 52 Planner (found at Hobby Lobby)
#2 GORGEOUS stickers!
Many gorgeous planner spreads come with gorgeous stickers! I LOVE the stickers from The Happy Planner and I own almost all of them. It’s kind of crazy. Anyways, here are some links to my favorite sticker books!!
It’s really hard to narrow it down because I love ALL of the sticker books! In addition to sticker books, there are also a ton of shops on Etsy that have printable and ready to ship stickers! Here are a few of my favorite shops:
#3 Full Page White Sticker Paper
I use full page sticker paper for more than one purpose. First, I print and cut stickers with my Silhouette with this paper. Second, I use it to cover up things in my planner that I want to disappear (like, habit trackers).
#4 Slice Precision Cutter
In the spread below, you can see how I’ve trimmed down many of the flower stickers to fit the space that I wanted them in. Although some of the flower stickers can be cut down with scissors, it’s so much easier to use the Slice Precision cutter to get an exact line!
#5 Zebra Mildliners
THESE. It is very rare that I let a spread be finished without using my Midliners!!! I LOVE THEM. They have the best colors and add an incredible about of color to spreads. They don’t bleed through most papers.
#6 The Best Pens on the PLANET
My husband and I traveled across Europe last summer. While we were in Paris, we went to an AMAZING store called Muji. There are some in the US, however, I’d never seen it before. I purchased some erasable pens while I was at the store.
They are the BEST pens I’ve ever used. You need to try them!
#7 Washi Tape
I usually get my washi tape at Michaels, Joanns, or Hobby Lobby. Washi tape is decorative tape that you add to your spreads that adds some color and pop! It is great to use to section off pieces of your spread.
So there it is!! My 7 must have products for creative planning list. What do you think is the #1 thing that you use while planning?? Comment below and be sure to visit my Instagram for more inspiration!
